Goal
The goal for the workshop is to bring together
experts from industry and academia, who work on highly complex,
distributed, reactive software systems related to the automotive domain,
and to discuss and further the understanding of the following focus
areas:
- Automotive Models and Model-driven development
- Automotive Software and Systems Architectures
- Automotive Domain Architectures
- Automotive Software Services and Service-oriented development
- Automotive Hardware, Middleware, and Software Platforms
- On- and Off-Board Ad-hoc Networking
- Networked Automotive Services
- Mobile Sensor Networks
- Reliability, Security and Privacy for Automotive Software
- Enabling Technologies for Telematics Applications
We expect the workshop to foster a deeper understanding of the
research challenges and agendas in this area; it also has the potential
of spawning new efforts in cross-disciplinary research to address these
challenges. Engaging academia and industry in this context will also aid
in preparation of future curricula and training programs addressing the
specific skill sets needed by researchers and engineers for building
next-generation automotive solutions.
